(in his 95th year)

Brian died peacefully at home on Tuesday, 7 February 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his dearly beloved wife Thérèse, sister, brothers and nephews. Cherished father to son Eamon, daughters Toni (Regan), Ríóna (Johnson), Tracey, Briana and Seóna (Joyce) and grandfather (Dandad) to Sarah, Brian, Emma, Clíodhna, Síobhán, Daniel, Mark, Andrea, Deirdre and Shane. Mourned and sadly missed by his family, his daughter-in-law Carol, sons-in-law Mark, Neil, Mike and Alan, nieces, carers and circle of friends.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) on Friday, 10 February, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Removal from his home at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday morning, 11 February, to St. Mary’s Church, The Claddagh. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Brian on arrival at 11 a.m. and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.

  3. My deepest sympathy to the Madden family . I am in Asia at the moment so am sorry I cannot attend the funeral. Wishing you peace and comfort at this difficult and sad time. May he rest in peace.

  4. My heartfelt sympathy to all of the Madden family on Brian’s passing. Himself and Teresa were such supportive neighbours of ours when we lived in Whitestrand. He was always such a truly lovely gentleman even in recent times when we would meet up when he was out with his carer. I only today read of his death.
