Galway Community Games Athletics Finals Results 2024

Galway Community Games had a huge entry this year for the annual Track & Field Finals that took place in Ballinderreen on Sunday (2nd June 2024).

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out on the day, and also to Vinny Griffin (Moylough) who sponsored a set of Hi-Viz Bibs to the county, and to Councillor Joe Byrne, who along with Galway County Council, provided financial support during the year.

All the winners fo the track and hurdles event qualified straight for the National Finals in Carlow in August.  Second and third in each event will compete at the Regionals in Athlone on August 10th.

The top two in the field events also go straight through to the National Finals in August.  And the winner in each relay event will also represent Galway in Carlow.
