On today’s show we heard from Adi Roche on the 36^th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, amid concerns that history could repeat itself as the conflict in Ukraine continues.

As Sinn Fein bring a Dáil motion against the proposed ban on selling turf, the party’s Spokesperson on Agriculture Matt Carthy and Galway Green Party Senator Pauline O’ Reilly had a spirited debate on the issue.

A Galway home care assistant joined Keith to give her experience of working in the home help sector and the challenges facing those who want to help others.  Ciarán Tobin, RIAI of   OAS Architects, Galway came into studio  to tell us all about this year’s Simon Open Door Campaign.
