GTI Open Day 2024: On Tuesday 5th March  we broadcast 12 to 3pm from the annual Galway Technical Institute Open Day.  This is an excellent opportunity for students to gather information about educational opportunities the institute offers. 
For those unable to attend in person  Ronan Lardner on The Live Wire will give an insights into the institute’s atmosphere and educational opportunities.  Ronan will help you get to know what this educational community can bring to your further education.  Tune in from 12 noon on Tues 5th.

GTI is one of the leading colleges of Further Education in Ireland, providing QQI Level 5 & 6 courses to over 1,100 learners annually. At GTI, courses are designed to be of immediate and practical use in the workplace or as a stepping stone to further study and higher qualifications. Facilities at GTI include recording studios, creative digital media laboratories, dog grooming studio, hairdressing and beauty salons, wood workshops, fashion studios plus a wide range of specialist IT facilities. Their European Links provide work placements abroad for over 90 GTI students annually. Students currently travel to Finland, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Finland, and Turkey. These funded placements afford students the opportunity to gain valuable work related training in institutions and enterprises throughout Europe.
