Mairead Farrell questions Taoiseach on efforts to tackle AirBnB

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway West TD Mairead Farrell is demanding action from Government on tackling the enormous amount of properties available on AirBnB.

It’s after figures released last week showed there are 20 times more properties on AirBnB in Galway, than there are for long-term rent on Daft.ie.

In some parts of the country, there were 100 times more properties available for short-term let on AirBnB.

Sinn Fein Deputy Farrell wanted Leo Varadkar to explain what the Government is doing about it.
