Loughrea area Fianna Fáil councillor Shane Curley and outgoing Senator Séan Kyne have been elected to the Seanad.
Councillor Curley was third over the line in the count for the Cultural and Educational panel, after Sinn Féin's Pauline Tully and Fine Gael's Cathal Byrne were elected last night.
While outgoing Senator and former TD Séan Kyne has been returned for another term - he was then followed by Joe Conway, meaning Lorraine Clifford-Lee lost her seat.
They join returning Senators, Independents Ahascragh's Rónán Mullen, Galway city-native Alice Mary Higgins and Michael McDowell.
The Agricultural panel will be next up, with four names of Galway interest.
They include Gort-Kinvara area Fine Gael Councillor PJ Murphy; Connemara South Independent Ireland Councillor Noel Thomas; outgoing Fine Gael Senator Aisling Dolan and outgoing Independent and former Fianna Fáil Senator Eugene Murphy.
