Galway to get more than 30 extra special needs assistants

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway is set to get 36 extra special needs assistants for the coming school year.

Minister for the Gaeltacht, Seán Kyne says the extra allocation will bring the number of SNAs in Galway to 864.

The allocation in Galway primary schools will increase by 25, while more than 10 more will support students in secondary schools.
