Wins For An Spidéal and Corofin In County Football Championship

An Spidéal claimed victory over Killererin at Pearse Stadium last night in Group 1 of the Claregalway Hotel County Senior Football Championship.  It finished An Spideal 0-15     Killererin 1-9.

In Group 2 at Tuam Stadium it finished Annaghdown 1-11  Corofin 2-11.

In the Intermediate Football Championship:

In Group B - Headford overcame Carna Cashel, 1-13 to 0-10.

In Group C  - It finished Oranmore/Maree 1-19 St Gabriels 1-11 at Duggan Park.

In Group D-Dunmore McHales had a comprehensive win over Cortoon Shamrocks in Milltown on a scoreline of 3-12 to Cortoon’s 1-12.

This afternoon in the Senior Football Championship,  Barna take on Milltown at Tuam Stadium at 2.15pm. At the same time St Michael’s play Salthill/Knocknacarra at Pearse Stadium.

That’s followed by the clash of Tuam Stars and Naomh Anna Leitir Mór at An Fhairce while at 4pm it’s Maigh Cuilinn v Mountbellew/Moylough at Pearse Stadium.

Kenny Park is the venue for Killannin v Caherlistrane at 5.45pm while at the same time Monivea/Abbey play An Cheathru Rua at Pearse Stadium. The late game this evening sees Claregalway and St James’s throw in at Kenny Park at 7.30pm.
