A group of three sports clubs in Tuam (Tuam AC
juveniles, Tuam/Cortoon LGFA and Tuam Camogie) have joined together to call
themselves “We Are Tuam” with the goal of funding and building a sports hub in
the town that will provide facilities for all three.
The group have got together with Coral Leisure in
Tuam to organise an event that will take place on October the 5th.
The event is called “To Hell And Back” and will take
place over two distances. 8km and 16km.
Julie Keane of Tuam AC juveniles club and Micheal
Turner of Coral Leisure joined Gerry Murphy and George McDonagh in studio to
talk about the event.
