To celebrate Raise and Giving week both The University of Galway and ATU Galway are going head to head this Thursday in a competition which features teams from both colleges facing each other across a range of sports starting at 11.30am and continuing until 4.30 in the afternoon.
All sporting events take place at the University of Galway.
The day will also see funds raised for Galway Rape Crisis Centre and Galway Autism Partnership.
Director of Sport at the University of Galway Des Ryan explained what will happen on the day.
Molly Dunne is Sports Development Officer with ATU Galway. She says that they are also looking forward to the event.
