TG4 Ladies All-Ireland Senior Football Final Preview – Louise Ward

All roads will lead to Croke Park on Sunday for the TG4 Ladies All-Ireland Football Finals in Junior, Intermediate and Senior and for Galway, this is a chance to win the Brendan Martin Cup for the first time since 2004.

While their opponents Dublin are appearing in their sixth final in a row and looking to make it three on the trot of All-Ireland titles, many of the current crop of Galway players already know how to win against this side having beaten them at schools and underage level.

Louise Ward of Kilkerrin/Clonberne is one such example. A member of the Galway Minor team that won two dramatic finals against Dublin and Cork in 2013 and 2014. None more so than in 2013 when they beat Dublin after a replay.

Louise spoke to Tommy Devane
