Galway Womens Football Club recently announced the sponsorship with St. Anthony’s and Claddagh Credit Union. This sponsorship will allow the club to thrive as it has done for the past couple of season with teams now involved at underage as well as the Senior Team.
In a statement, St. Anthony’s & Claddagh Credit Union said..."St. Anthony’s & Claddagh Credit Union are very proud to have recently sponsored the Galway Women’s FC. Galway Women’s FC was founded in 2012 in order to give Women & Girls in Galway and indeed the West of Ireland the chance to play Soccer at the highest level & they are seeing some amazing talent since with their senior team improving year on year and currently sitting in 4th in the table respectively."
The Statement concluded..."We in St. Anthony’s & Claddagh Credit Union see the development of our community as vital & in line with the ethos of Credit Unions. As a result, we sponsor a number of projects in key areas - arts, education, sport, social disadvantage & international development. We are delighted now to work with Galway Womens FC, with the hard work & dedication of the club, as sponsor of one of their upcoming senior matches, player of the month award & a match programme for the club.
