SOCCER: Salthill Devon 3-0 Colga (Michael Byrne Cup Final Reaction with Emlyn Long)

Salthill Devon completed a league and cup double in Eamonn Deacy Park last night (Tuesday, 30th May) after beating Colga 3-0 in the Michael Byrne Cup Final.

First half strikes from Timmy Molloy and Vinny Faherty, were followed by the third goal for Mikey Fox, while Colga struck the woodwork on three occasions.

Afterwards, Salthill Devon manager Emlyn Long chatted to Galway Bay FM’s Mike Rafferty.

The Joe Ryan Cup takes place tonight (Wednesday) between Cois Fharraige and Corofin United.  Kick-off at Eamonn Deacy Park is 7.30pm.
