The SSE Airtricity League Premier Division reaches the end of the first quarter this Saturday (6th April) when Galway United travel to Sligo Rovers.
The Tribesmen have picked up 10 points in their previous eight outings, sitting in seventh place following their 2-0 defeat at home against Bohemians last Monday.
Sligo are in second spot but have just two points more than Galway. While the Connacht clubs regularly meet in pre-season friendlies, this is their first competitive league clash since September 2017 when the maroon and white were 3-1 victors in Eamonn Deacy Park. The teams drew 1-1 at the Showgrounds the previous April.
Leading up to the game, Galway United manager John Caulfield has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.
Kick-off at the Showgrounds on Saturday is 7.45pm and we'll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM.
