The Galway senior hurling team will be announced at 9pm this evening for tomorrow’s (Saturday) Leinster semi-final against Wexford.
It’s their first competitive contest since beating Tipperary in the National League on March 8th, nearly eight months ago.
Manager Shane O’Neill has to make big decisions on key players with Daithi Burke a major doubt and there’s also concerns regarding 2017 captain David Burke and Beagh defender Adrian Tuohey.
But speaking to Sean Walsh during the week, O’Neill says they’ll wait for as long as they can before making decision regarding these players.
Throw-in on Saturday in Croke Park is 6.15pm.
