Senior B Hurling Final replay should be another cracker

After their sensational drawn encounter two weeks ago. Ahascragh Fohenagh and Mullagh will lock horns again on Saturday at 3.45 pm in Duggan Park in the replayed final of the inaugural Senior B Hurling Championship. All the drama was packed into the closing stages as Ahscragh Fohenagh completed a brilliant comeback from 8 points down to take the lead with an injury-time goal from Mark Kelly Junior, only for Mullagh to go up the other end and go back in front with a brilliant goal by Damien Monaghan in the very next attack. Down by a point, Ahascragh Fohenagh kept cool heads and worked the ball quickly to Owen Naughton to slot a nerveless equalising point and send us to a much-anticipated replay.

Ahead of Saturday’s replay, Sean Walsh spoke to Mullagh joint-manager Eamon Donoghue and captain Ronan Glennon…

Sean also spoke to Ahascragh Fohenagh selector Padraic Leonard and joint-captain Mark Kelly…
