Senior and Intermediate Hurling Championship Quarter Finals fixtures announced

The fixtures for the quarter-finals of both the Senior and Intermediate Hurling Championship have been announced for the weekend after next, with Kenny Park hosting a senior double-header on Saturday, Oct 12th and both Duggan Park and Kenny Park hosting the other senior quarter-finals with intermediate games beforehand on Sunday, Oct 13th.

The only issue to be resolved in the Intermediate Championship is the final standings in Group 1 which will be finalised after Carnmore play Kilbeacanty this Saturday at 4.30pm in Kenny Park. If Carnmore win by 2 points or more, they will go above Turloughmore in the table and qualify along with Kinvara and a win by 6 points or more would see Carnmore finish 3rd in the table and go above Kinvara. However, if Carnmore draw or lose to Kilbeacanty then it will be Kinvara and Turloughmore who qualify in 3rd and 4th place respectively.

St Thomas v Tommie Larkins 4pm Kenny Park

Intermediate Hurling Championship Quarter Final:

Moycullen v Annaghdown 4.30pm Pearse Stadium

Sarsfields v Liam Mellows 12 noon Kenny Park

Loughrea v Cappataggle 4.30pm Duggan Park

Intermediate Hurling Championship Quarter Finals:

Rahoon Newcastle v Carnmore/Turloughmore/Kinvara (3rd place team) 1.45pm Pearse Stadium

Meelick Eyrecourt v Carnmore/Turloughmore/Kinvara (4th place team) 1.45pm Kenny Park

Kilconieron v Killimor 1.45pm Duggan Park
