Sarsfields are just 60 minutes away from a sixth successive Windows & Rooflights Ltd senior A camogie title when they take on St. Thomas' this Sunday (27th October).
It's the blue and red's first appearance in the decider since going down to the same opposition in 2019. But a new generation of stars representing the Kilchreest/Peterswell outfit have brought them back to camogie's biggest day, just 12 months after winning the Senior B competition.
St. Thomas' topped their group before beating Oranmore/Maree 2-12 to 0-13 in the semi-final. But they did suffer defeat to Sarsfields (1-19 to 1-7) along the way. That being said, Sarsfields needed extra-time before overcoming Athenry 2-18 to 0-17 two weeks ago.
Leading up to the game, Sarsfields captain Laura Ward has been chatting with Galway Bay FM's Tommy Devane.
Tommy then had a word with St. Thomas' captain Lorraine Coen.
St. Thomas' Áine Keane was at the recent launch as AIB's sponsorship of all four codes for the upcoming All-Ireland club championships and she chatted to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.
St. Thomas' are managed by Niall Gillane who also shared his thoughts with Tommy Devane.
Last up was Sarsfields manager Michael 'Hopper' McGrath to give his views on the big game with Tommy.
Throw-in at Gort on Sunday is 3.30pm.
