Presentation College, Athenry will attempt to win a first All-Ireland Senior Colleges Camogie title since 1978 this Sunday.
They face Kilkenny’s Loreto in the decider in Banagher at 3pm.
Athenry won three senior titles in the 1970s but haven’t
contested the decider since successive replay losses to St. Mary’s,
Charleville.
Loreto are six-time winners since 2010 and beat St.
Brigid’s, Loughrea in two of those finals.
They have never met Presentation in the final but did beat the Athenry
school in the Junior deciders of 2007 and 2015.
