The Galway footballers produced an exceptional second half turnaround in Brewster Park, Enniskillen as they came from 0-7 to 0-3 down at half time to beat Fermanagh 1-13 to 0-10 in cold and windy conditions. The crucial goal came from Damien Comer straight from the second half throw in and inspired by some brilliant point taking by Mountbellew Moylough duo Michael Daly and Barry McHugh, Galway held Fermanagh to just 3 points in the second half as the frustrated home side finished with just 14 men.
