One year after edging out Tuam to take Shield honours, Monivea are back in a final but this time it's the Curley Cup itself when they meet Westport on Sunday (17th November 2024).
The Galway side won their two group games against Corrib and Ballinrobe, before accounting for Sligo 25-19 in the semi-final back in September.
Westport beat Ballyhaunis, Galwegians and Claremorris to reach the final four, and then overcame Ballinasloe 27-15 to reach the decider.
Gerard Coyne is the Monivea head coach and he has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's William Davies.
