Following a three-week break, Galway's senior ladies footballers return to Lidl Ladies National Football League action this Sunday (23rd March 2025) when they meet Monaghan in Round 6 of Division 2.
With five wins from as many games so far, the Tribeswomen will secure promotion and a league final in Croke Park next month providing they leave the Farney county without defeat. Galway have won the last five league clashes between the counties (the last finishing 1-9 to 1-7 in 2019 with Sarah Conneally getting Galway's goal). Monaghan's last success was a 1-11 to 0-11 win in Mountbellew back in 2011.
Leading up to the game, Galway manager Daniel Moynihan has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.
Throw-in at Currin GAA on Sunday is 2pm and we'll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM.
