Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill made an impromptu visit to Scoil Iognaid in Galway yesterday (Wednesday) in anticipation of the official start of the 2018 SPAR FAI Primary Schools 5s Programme, which kicks-off nationwide on Wednesday, March 21. The SPAR FAI 5s Programme is open to boys and girls from 4th, 5th and 6th classes and puts the emphasis on fun and activity.
This year's Programme will see more than 1,512 schools and a whopping 31,280 children lace up their boots to take to the pitches around the country. The National Finals will be held at the Aviva Stadium on May 30th.
