The National Elite Championship Finals was a good day for Galway boxing. In the Men's 67 KG Division, Olympic BC's Darren O'Connor was crowned Elite champion following a convincing 5-0 over Malo Davis from Monkstown and retaining his 2024 Elite Champion status at the Super Heavyweight Division was Tuam native and Galway Boxing Club's Martin McDonagh.
