Irish domestic basketball will have a brand new look for the 2023/24 National League season, with new logos for the InsureMyVan.ie Super League, MissQuote.ie Super League, InsureMyVan.ie Division 1 and MissQuote.ie Division 1.
The new logos incorporate the Basketball Ireland brand through a half-court illustration, alongside competition title sponsors InsureMyVan.ie and MissQuote.ie.
Basketball Ireland CEO, John Feehan, said: “We have been working on this branding of our top tier domestic leagues for a number of months and we are delighted with the end result. The new logos add a strong visual presence for our Super League and Division 1 competitions. It’s the logical next step, as the visibility and prominence around our leagues continues to grow, following last year’s launch of basketballireland.tv and digitising the sport through NBN23’s Swish All Hoops app.”
CFM CEO, Jonathan Hehir, added: “This is the third year of our sponsorship of the InsureMyVan.ie Super League and Division 1 and MissQuote.ie Super League and Division 1 and we’re delighted to see the next evolution of our partnership with Basketball Ireland through these new logos. The league goes from strength-to-strength and we look forward to being part of its continued growth.”
The 2023/24 season starts on September 23rd, when defending MissQuote.ie Super League champions The Address UCC Glanmire host Waterford Wildcats at 3pm, with four more MissQuote.ie Super League fixtures taking place that weekend. A week later all four divisions are in action, with defending InsureMyVan.ie Super League champions Irish Guide Dogs Ballincollig @MTU facing Cork rivals Energywise Ireland Neptune at their new home venue, MTU Arena, on September 30th at 4pm.
