Saturday was a day full of thrilling Gaelic games, two of which were the semi-final stages of the Intermediate Football Semi-Finals.
The first match of the two in Duggan Park saw St Michael's play Oranmore-Maree. St Michael's put on a dominant display and Oranmore-Maree never looked in reach of the city side. Big performances from Gary Higgins, Ethan Fiorentini and Conal Gallagher powered their side to emerge on top by 0-19 to 0-7.

The second match of the day was an even more anticipated encounter when Glenamaddy faced Caltra with the rain pouring down. Despite Glenamaddy's early explosion by Ryan Duffy who had his side leading 1-1 to 0-0 after just 3 minutes, it was all Caltra after that. Alan Naughton gave his side the lead before the half, and despite a brief deadlock in the 40th minute, Caltra never lost the lead, winning 1-10 to 2-2 at the final whistle.
