St. Raphael’s senior hurling manager has been giving an insight into how the lack of sporting competition this season is affecting secondary school students.

The Loughrea School were crowned Connacht champions last year before the COVID-19 lockdown resulted in their All-Ireland semi-final against St. Flannan’s, Ennis not taking place.
This week, the decision was made that no All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Gaelic games competitions will take place in 2021.
