Galwegians host leaders Railway Union on Saturday (16th November 2024) in the Energia Women's All-Ireland League, where a home victory would propel them into the championship mix.
The city side are currently in fourth with two wins from five fixtures and sit seven points behind their opponents. Taking a win could move them to within two or three points from the top. It will be a big ask though as the Dublin club racked up 146 points in two heavy defeats on Galwegians last season.
Leading up to the game, Connacht head coach Jack Clarke gave his thoughts to Galway Bay FM's William Davies.
Kick-off at Crowley Park on Saturday is 5pm.
