GALWAY star Shauna Hynes has been honoured with The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month award for March 2025.
The news comes as a boost to the Tribeswomen ahead of next Saturday’s Lidl National League Division 2 Final against Cork at Croke Park.
Galway have enjoyed a terrific campaign to date and they scorched through the group stages, winning all seven games, to clinch promotion and a Final place.
Having suffered relegation from the top flight last year, Galway have bounced back at the first attempt and the form of Hynes has been central to that charge.
27-year-old Shauna, who made her senior debut in 2017, has been in superb form in 2025 and she starred in Galway’s three victories during the month of March.
The Milltown player notched 1-3 in the win against Donegal, 1-4 as the Tribeswomen got the better of Monaghan, and 1-1 as Galway overcame Clare.
Shauna and Galway will now look to crown their Lidl National League season with Division 2 silverware when they face Cork at Croke Park on Saturday (3pm).
Shauna was presented with her award by Zelka Morey, Sales Manager, The Croke Park Hotel.
