Galway's Aoife Donohue Chats to Galway Bay FM as Eir Announced as new Sponsors for All-Ireland under-16 Camogie Championship

Building on more than a decade of support for the GAA, eir, Ireland's largest telecommunications provider, was announced on Monday (7th October 2024) as the official telco partner of the Camogie Assocation and new sponsor of the under-16 All-Ireland championships for the next three years.

At the launch were Player of the Year nominees Saoirse McCarthy from Cork, and Galway's Aoife Donohue.

The Mullagh winger saw her season come to an end last Friday (4th October) when they were beaten 0-14 to 0-9 by Oranmore/Maree in the Window & Rooflights Ltd Senior A championship quarter-final.

Aoife caught up with Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly to chat about the year just gone, Galway's All-Ireland final appearance, the importance of underage opportunities for the progress of a camogie player, how she thinks this Saturday's Senior A county semi-finals will go, and much more.
