The Galway senior hurlers get their 2025 underway on Sunday (5th January 2025) when they host Laois in an inter county challenge.
The all-ticket event is a fundraiser for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) while there'll also be a bucket collection on the day in support of IMNDA.
Leading up to the game, former All-Ireland winning manager Cyril Farrell joined Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly to look ahead to the game and the season ahead.
Throw-in at Duggan Park, Ballinasloe on Sunday is 2pm.
