Galway Volleyball Club made history on Sunday by winning the Premier League for the first time ever. Their 3-0 win against DVC sealed the win for them and they finished the league season with just one loss out of 12 matches. However, Galway can’t spend too long celebrating their historic win as they face league runners up, Garda in the Association Cup Semi Final next Sunday, 9th April in Newbridge. Galway lost to Garda in the away league match 1-3, but beat them 3-1 in the home match so this match is sure to go down to the wire when they face each other in a neutral venue! All supporters are more than welcome.
