Galway U20 footballers will look to make it back to back provincial titles on Saturday in Tuam Stadium at 2pm when they take on Roscommon for a place in the All-Ireland semi finals against Kerry on St Patrick's Day. 3 years ago at minor level Galway defeated Roscommon by 1-13 to 1-6 in the Connacht semi final and eventually exited the championship at the hands of Cavan in the All-Ireland quarter final. Both sides had four players that started in 2017 lining out in their respective semi final wins this year as Galway beat Leitrim 1-12 to 0-2 and Roscommon overcame Sligo 1-11 to 1-8. Galway players Sean Fitzgerald, Jack Glynn, Matthew Tierney (pictured) and Brian Harlowe were all part of the minor team three years ago, while Roscommon players Paul McManus, Paul Carey, Andrew Lyons and John Martin were involved.
