In the most open Connacht U20 football championship ever, it was another night of draws and drama. Galway and Roscommon played out a dour 0-6 each draw in dreadful weather conditions in Hyde Park, while at the same time in Markiewicz Park, three-in-a-row chasing Sligo rescued their season with a last-gasp penalty goal sealing a draw against Leitrim 2-11 to 1-14. Four of the eight games played in this year's provincial U20 championship have been draws. All five teams can still win the Championship with one round to go. Only Galway are guaranteed a semi-final. Next Wednesday, Mayo host Sligo and Roscommon go to Leitrim.
