The Galway footballers opening game in Division 1 of the National Football League against Tyrone on Sunday week has been re-fixed for Tuam Stadium at 2.30pm. The game was originally scheduled to be played as part of a double header with the hurlers in Pearse Stadium but the two games have now been split, with Galway v Antrim in the National Hurling League throwing in at 1pm in Salthill. The last time Galway and Tyrone met in Division 1 was in 2010 when the Tribesmen came out on top by 4 points, but Mickey Harte's side have won the 2 most recent meetings in Division 2, including the 2016 clash in Pearse Stadium.
