Kevin Walsh stepped down this morning as Galway football manager saying he was 'honoured' to be able to leave football in the county in 'a better place'.
During his five years in charge, Galway won two Connacht titles, contested two other provincial finals and last year qualified for the National Football League final and All-Ireland
