Galway Camogie Homecoming details finalised this morning

Thousands of Galway Camogie fans are expected to welcome home the All Ireland champions this evening when the squad arrive into Mullagh around 6.30pm, the home of captain Sarah Dervan. The team will visit Crumlin Children's Hospital with the O'Duffy Cup, before making their way to the Kinnegad Plaza to visit sponsors Pat and Una McDonagh of Supermacs. Then it's the ceremonial crossing of the River Shannon at Athlone before heading for Mullagh and finally, the Loughrea Hotel & Spa.

1.30pm Leaving Bonnington Hotel Dublin (formerly The Regency)

3.15pm Depart Kinnegad Plaza

4.15pm Walk over Bridge in Athlone with O'Duffy Cup

5.15pm Depart Athlone

6.30pm Arrive in Mullagh GAA Grounds

8pm Arrive in Loughrea Hotel & Spa
