The Galway Branch of the Irish Soccer Referee Society is delighted to announce two exciting new sponsorships for their referee jerseys, bringing vibrant new kits and valuable support to their members.
Galway Trophy Centre has generously come on board to sponsor a brand-new orange referee jersey for all cup competitions. Starting immediately, referees officiating in cup fixtures will proudly wear the striking new orange kit, emblazoned with the Galway Trophy Centre logo. Jason Quinn of Galway Trophy Centre expressed his enthusiasm about this partnership:
"As someone who has been deeply involved in the local game as a player, coach, and a parent of kids who play soccer, I’m delighted to give back to the sport and support the referees who are such an integral part of it. It’s a privilege to be associated with this initiative and the great work done by the Galway Referee Society."
In addition, Specsavers Galway stores have joined as sponsors for their league jerseys, bringing a fresh new look with pink and yellow kits that will make their debut this weekend. This partnership results from a collaboration across the Specsavers Galway stores including Eyre Square, Galway Shopping Centre (Headford Road), Knocknacara and Tuam. James Hanley of Specsavers was delighted with the partnership:
"At Specsavers, we’re thrilled to support the Galway Referee Society in this exciting partnership. Our stores in Galway are proud to come together to back the referees who contribute so much to the success of the local game. We look forward to seeing our bright and bold kits on the pitch."
Mike Cubbard, Chairman of the Galway Branch of the Irish Soccer Referee Society, extended his thanks to both sponsors:
"With 57 members officiating close to 200 games each week, these partnerships offer fantastic exposure for both Galway Trophy Centre and Specsavers. We are proud to be associated with two strong local businesses that share our passion for supporting grassroots football. I’d like to especially thank our kit officer Marc Lynch and Secretary John O’Connor for their dedication and hard work in making these partnerships possible. It’s an exciting time for the Galway Referee Society as we continue to grow."
