The National Road Relays take place this Sunday April 24th in Raheny , Dublin. The team races are hugely popular and bring together most of the top middle and long distance runners in the country.Galway clubs will be well represented with Galway City Harriers fielding strong Senior Mens and Womens teams as well as Masters Womens squads.GCH Men include Aaron Brennan , David Carter , Conor Byrne and David Bohan , with Ellen Moran leading the Ladies selection.Craughwell AC also field very strong Mens and Womens teams and the former will challenge for a top six spot, with the likes of Jamie Fallon and William Fitzgerald key to the success of the talented young squad.
Galway 5k Series
The 2022 5k Galway 5k Series is back and this year is sponsored by EY starts next Tuesday April 26th. The six race series is once again a sell out with Tuam hosting the first leg which starts each Tuesday at 8pm
