After both sides won their respective semi finals on Wednesday evening last, Galway and Mayo will meet in the Connacht U20 football championship final in Tuam Stadium next Wednesday at 7.30pm. The U20 grade is considered a 'new' competition in Connacht, so a coin toss ordained that Galway would have home advantage in Tuam, rather than having to go to Castlebar as per the home and away agreement that existed between the counties at U21 level.
