Galway's Under 14 Ladies Footballers will face Kerry this Saturday in McDonagh Park in Nenagh bidding to become the first Galway team to win this title since 2010.
In The All-Ireland Semi-Final they had a comfortable 6-23 to 3-3 win over Dublin but face a Kerry side who scored 3-16 in their win over Cavan in the other Semi-Final.
Galway manager Stephen Hession has confirmed to Galway Bay FM Sport that he will have a full panel to pick from for Saturday’s All-Ireland Under 14 Ladies Football Final.
Players from 17 clubs around the county will be represented on the day with the team captained by Salthill/Knocknacarra’s Emma Madden.
Throw in on Saturday afternoon is at 1.30.

Galway have won the U14 All Ireland ladies football title once before,in 2010 and have lost four finals in 2002, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Galway were defeated in the first three All Ireland finals before this but they were not found wanting in this seven goal thriller. Dublin got off to the brighter start with a goal from Aisling O’Leary and added three points without reply but all Galway could register was a point from key player Louise Ward. Johnny Carter’s side got a new burst of life and hit two goals in less than a minute from the lively Katie Carter and Ciana Ni Churraoin. A brace from Leah Mullins and point from Simone Reilly had the Dubs 2-4 – 1-6 ahead.
The victors opened up a four point gap after the interval a goal from Aoibhinn Joyce and a point from Siobhan Gavin. A high free in from Reilly dipped in under the crossbar and momentum switched. The livewire Katie Carter notched over two points for her father’s side and goal number four arrived from the boot of Kelly Malone and Galway were clinical upfront. Dublin did score a late from sharp shooter Aisling O’Leary but the tribeswomen held on for a narrow one point victory.
