A group of seven close friends are taking on the Amsterdam Marathon together to support Galway Autism Partnership (GAP).
This charity provides essential services to families for autistic individuals, their families & friends across Galway city & county as far as possible.
The seven friends are aiming to raise funds to support the work involved in making changes to the front door entrance of GAP House so that it is wheelchair accessible.
Thus, making the house more inclusive & extending GAP's reach in supporting more people.
Ahead of the challenge, two of them Ryan McDonagh and James Frizzell, together with Maire Brid Ni Chonghaile, General Manager Galway Autism Partnership, joined John in studio on Saturday Sport.
The group have set up a gofundme page which can be found at https://www.gofundme.com/f/run4gap
