This evening one of the most anticipated Hurling competitions in the calendar gets underway with the first games in the Feile competitions in the county, The Toddie Byrne Cup, Justin Cheevers Cup and Toddie Byrne Shield is first played in a group format with semi-finals on Saturday evening and the finals in Kenny Park on the Sunday and due to the League Quarter Final in Pearse Stadium between Galway and Waterford at Sunday at 4pm, the Féile Hurling Finals are brought forward one hour so the Toddie Byrne Shield Final will be at 11am, the Justin Cheevers Cup Final at 12 noon and the Toddie Byrne Cup Final at 1pm.
Pauric Lohan Chairman of the Juvenile Hurling Committee joined John earlier and he told John that anything can happen in these competitions.
