Killimor GAA Club in association with Pieta House are undertaking a sponsored cycle from Croke Park to Killimor on April 1st. The purpose of the cycle is twofold; to raise awareness of the ‘Mind your Men’ Pieta House campaign and help with club facility development costs.
The club and community are continually striving to raise awareness of mental health and well-being issues within the club community.
The club jersey has the ‘Mind your Men’ logo on it and the club are actively engaging in fundraising initiatives and programs associated with Pieta House.
Secondly, there is also an ambitious plan in upgrading the club facilities over the next few years and have recently installed substantial floodlighting. The participants of the cycle include Killimor club players, members of the general public, cycling club enthusiasts and neighboring club members, who are training on a regular basis in preparation for this exciting challenge.
