The senior team have won their opening 3 games in Division 1 of the National League, NUIG are through to the Sigerson Cup final for the first time in 15 years and Corofin safely negotiated their All Ireland Club Championship quarter final against Fulham Irish in London to set up a semi final clash with Leinster Champions Moorefield of Kildare on Saturday at 2pm in Tullamore. Corofin will play their 8th All Ireland Semi Final on Saturday in O'Moore Park. In the seven semi finals previously, Corofin have won just two, most recently 2015 when they went on to win the All Ireland title. Their other All-Ireland semi final victory was back in 1998 which they beat Dungiven 0-11 to 0-9 and also went on to win the All Ireland title. Corofin have progressed to this year’s semi final after beating Fulham Irish in the quarter final 3-8 to 1-4. The other semi final is between Nemo Rangers and Slaughtneil, taking place the following week on the 24th
