It was heart-break for the Galway Minor footballers in Croke Park yesterday as Cork won their first All Ireland title at the grade since 2000 after a thrilling final that went all the way to extra time. It looked for Galway when substitute Niall Cunningham scored a brilliant goal deep into stoppage time to put his side 3 points up with barely a minute of play remaining, only for Cork to go straight down the field to score the equalising goal.
