Despite putting up an impressive tally, Corinthians came out the wrong side of a thriller at Corinthian Park as Tipperary's Cashel ended their unbeaten run in the Energia All-Ireland Rugby League Division 2A on Saturday (16th November 2024).

Fearghal MacCearra, Jack Pollard, Max Holmes and John Claffey were among the try scorers for the hosts, the visitors stole the plaudits with a last-minute try.

Afterwards, Corinthians head coach Michael Harding chatted to Galway Bay FM's John Mulligan.

Corinthians are away to Banbridge in their next fixture.  That's on Saturday, 7th December at 2.30pm at Rifle Park.

Galwegians also suffered last-minute heartache in Division 2B as Dungannon snatched a late converted try to win 28-27.  The Galway club have nine bonus points in this year's league despite losing all seven fixtures.

Rob Deacy (2), Rob Holian and Oisin McKey got their tries.
