Connacht have made four changes for Saturday's BKT United Rugby Champions clash with Benetton (Saturday, 1st March 2025)
Academy winger Finn Treacy is handed his first start, while Caolin Blade, Darragh Murray and David O’Connor also come into the team.
Connacht are currently 12th in the table on 24 points, but just three behind the Italian outfit who occupy a top-eight position. Benetton ended Connacht's Challenge Cup aspirations with a 39-24 quarter-final victory in April 2024. It was their third win in succession over Connacht but the last time they met in Galway in December 2022, the hosts prevailed by 38-19.
With a full preview, Galway Bay FM's William Davies is joined by Lineout & Maul coach John Muldoon.
Kick-off at Dexcom Stadium on Saturday is 7.35pm and we'll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM.
