Connacht and Glasgow Warriors meet in round 2 of the United Rugby Championship this Saturday at 3 pm in the Sportsground, with both teams coming into the game on the back of home wins in Round 1. Connacht beat Ospreys 34-26 at The Sportsground, while Glasgow beat Leinster in Scotstoun 43-25. The two teams last met in Glasgow back in April when the home side prevailed by 2 points, while their last meeting in the Sportsground was in January 2022 when the Scots outscored Connacht by 6 tries to 2 in a 42-20 victory. Before that, the opening match of the 2020/21 season saw Bundee Aki score 2 tries in a 28-24 victory for Connacht, a year earlier Glasgow were far too strong in a 43-17 victory at Scotstoun and the Warriors were also victorious in the opening game of the 2018/19 season on a 27-26 scoreline in Galway.
