Connacht take on Munster in pre-season friendly this Saturday

The new Pro 14 season starts for Connacht on Saturday week, Sept 28th away to the Scarlets (5.15pm) and ahead of that game, Andy Friend’s side host neighbours Munster this Saturday in their final pre-season friendly at the Sportsground (3pm KO). Connacht will be without Bundee Aki and Jack Carty who are with Ireland at the World Cup in Japan, but it might be an opportunity for new signings John Porch and Paddy McAllister to impress in what would be their first home appearance since joining in the summer.
